Ninth station: Jesus falls a third time

Introduction - Mở Đường Thánh Giá

· In the beginning God created man to live in intimacy with Him. Unfortunately man used his free will to betray God’s plan and thus was at enmity with God. However God still loves man and let man know that He will definitely save him. “Here is the Man”, the Savior of the world, a world of mortal man, a world to be saved by His power as a true God, Who raised up the crippled, the paralyzed and the dead. That’s why the God-Man Jesus tries to stand up and walk after the third falling down to the ground under the extreme heavy cross.

Đã hầu như hoàn toàn kiệt sức, con đường lại dốc dác khó đi, Chúa Giêsu ngã sấp mặt sõng xoài trên mặt đất. Chàng thanh niên Simong vội đỡ lấy thân thập giá cho khỏi đè xuống mình Người. Tên lính cầm giáo quát tháo: "Gần đến nơi rồi mà cũng không cố được hay sao?" Tên lính cầm búa có vẻ nhân hậu giơ tay nâng Chúa Giêsu lên: "Hắn mà chết ở lưng chừng đồi này thì hỏng hết chuyện đại sự".

Reflection - Nghiệm Đường Thánh Giá

· Jesus, You are Christ, the Son of God. In the fullness of time You came into the world in flesh to testify to the truth that You were sent by God, Who really loves us human creature and wants to communicate His Divine Life to us through Your Incarnation, Passion and Resurrection. As the Way, Your humanity is to embrace the cross with Your arms, as the Truth, Your Messianic mission is to fulfill Your Father’s saving plan, and as the Life, Your Spirit is to transform human weakness into divine power. On the contrary, in our daily Christian life, a life is to be died, buried and raised with You through the Church’s Baptism, we disciples and witnesses of Yours not only are afraid of our worldly failures, but also still push You down under our earthly idols and also under our mistrust in Your infinite merciful love!

 (Con Vẫn Trông Cậy)

Nam (PK1): Con vẫn trông cậy Chúa, lòng con tin tưởng nơi Ngài. Con hy vọng vào Ngài, đời con nương bóng Chúa thôi. Con xin trao về Chúa niềm tin và ước mơ này, được quên đi những âu lo, tìm vui theo bước chân Cha.

Nữ (PK2): Giữa tháng năm đời sống, nhiều khi mưa đổ bên trời. Đam mê nặng lòng người, niềm đau khơi nước mắt rơi. Những ánh sao còn đó, còn tin yêu ngước lên trời, tình thương Thiên Chúa muôn nơi, ngàn năm soi ấm tin vui.

Chung (ĐK): Con luôn trông cậy Chúa khác nào em bé ngủ yên trong tay mẹ hiền ru đời âu yếm. Tình Chúa mãi mãi theo con cho tâm hồn dù trong mưa gió, mãi mãi bình yên, mãi mãi bình yên.

Lạy Chúa Giêsu là Đường, là Sự Thật và là Sự Sống, xin cho Kitô-hữu chúng con là môn đệ của Chúa biết bỏ mình đi, vác thập giá mình mà theo Chúa.

Our Jesus, You are the Way, the Truth and the Life, help us Christian, Your disciples, deny ourselves, take up the cross and follow You.

Chúa Giêsu bị tước lột trần trụi.

Tenth station: Jesus is stripped of his garments.

Introduction - Mở Đường Thánh Giá

· In the beginning God created man in His image as man and woman naked without shame. Unfortunately man used his free will to betray God’s plan and thus became shameful of himself and hidden from God. However God still loves man and let man know that He will definitely save him. “Here is the Man”, the Savior of the world as God promised, Who comes to restore to man the original innocence. That’s why, although as a true man He does need clothing in order to cover not only His rending body but also His shame from nakedness in front of the hateful crowd, the God-Man Jesus let His body being tripped off!

Lên đến đỉnh đồi Golgôtha gọi là núi sọ, nơi đóng đanh Chúa Giêsu, hai người lính đưa giáo và búa cho chàng Simong giữ hộ, rồi cùng nhau lột chiếc áo của Chúa Giêsu ra. Người lính vốn cầm giáo ngắm nghía chiếc áo của Chúa Giêsu: "Chiếc áo này hay lắm, nó là một miếng vải nguyên được tạo nên bởi một đường chỉ duy nhất từ đầu đến cuối" Người lính vốn cầm búa liền đề nghị: "Thế thì chúng ta hãy bắt thăm xem ai được chiếc áo lạ này đi hả"

· Jesus, You are Christ, the Son of God. In the fullness of time You came into the world in flesh to testify to the truth that You were sent by God, Who really loves us human creature and wants to communicate His Divine Life to us through Your Incarnation, Passion and Resurrection. As the Way, Your humanity is to endure all shame, as the Truth, Your Messianic mission is to fulfill Your Father’s saving plan, and as the Life, Your Spirit is to transform culture of death into civilization of love. On the contrary, in our daily Christian life, a life is to be died, buried and raised with You through the Church’s Baptism, we disciples and witnesses of Yours not only are afraid of giving up our own material possession due to Your cause, but also waste Your precious graces on our dissolute lives!

Nam (PK2): Còn tình nào buồn như tình rong rêu, trôi lêu bêu giữa sóng! Còn tình nào buồn như tình chim hoang bay trên mây gió ngàn. Lạy Chúa, Ngôi Tình Yêu, con đã xa một chiều. Xin Ngài thương khi con mỏi rời chân gối Chúa ơi.

Nữ (tiếp PK2): Còn tình nào hồng như tình Giêsu xưa hy sinh kiếp sống! Còn tình nào hồng như tình Giêsu tấm thân phơi giữa trời! Lạy Chúa cao vời thay, nhân ái thay tình Ngài! Xin phúc ân cho con ngày ngày mãi mãi ngất say.

Chung (ĐK): Con xin cúi đầu khóc than muôn tội sầu, để rồi từ đây con đoan hứa mãi mãi tin yêu. Con xin cúi đầu ướt hoen mi lệ trào. Nguyện cuộc tình con như hoa nắng vẫn thấm tươi mầu.
